ENTERING GRADES 7-8
The Outpost I experience includes Camp Shalom’ s high ropes course and an epic caving adventure in the caverns and mud pits at Maquoketa Caves State Park. Campers will participate in the week-long Outpost Challenge, a fun competition between cabin groups featuring the vaunted Iron Chef Breakfast event. Outpost campers get to choose part of their activity schedule together in cabin groups, and they enjoy a higher degree of autonomy and more “hang-out” time than Village campers.
